Examining Effect of Green Knowledge Acquisition, Green Transformational Leadership, and CSR on Sustainable Green Practices: Mediating Effect of Green Innovation.

Abstract

Green sustainable practices can play a key role in gaining competitive advantage in the present complex marketplace. It is important to identify factors that can improve the sustainable green practices of organizations. Therefore, this research aims to examine the effects of CSR, green transformational leadership, and green knowledge acquisition on sustainable green practices through green innovation. Present study utilizes quantitative research approach to examine effect different factors on sustainable green practices. Data was gathered using simple random sampling from the employees working in organizations across the USA. PLS approach was used to confirm the validity of the model, specifically Smart PLS was employed for analysis. Results revealed that green innovation is one of the important antecedent of sustainable green practices. Results also underscore that green knowledge acquisition, transformational leadership, and CSR Plays key role to enhance green innovation. Also, statistics confirmed the mediation of green innovation. The originality of the research lies in providing empirical evidence from United States on the relations among green transformational leadership, CSR, and green knowledge acquisition on sustainable green practices by using green innovation as a mediator within a single framework.
