Abstract

This study examined the relationships among green human resource management (GHRM), green transformational leadership (GTL), employee environmental commitment (EEC), green innovation (GI), environmental regulation (ER), and corporate environmental performance (CEP) within the context of Jordan. A quantitative research design was adopted to empirically test the proposed framework. Data were collected from 290 employees working across various industrial sectors through a structured Likert scale questionnaire. The measurement instruments were adapted from established studies to ensure reliability and validity. The collected data were analyzed using JASP software, employing descriptive statistics, structural equation modeling, and mediation and moderation analysis techniques. The findings revealed that GHRM and sustainable leadership positively influenced both EEC and CEP. EEC and GI served as significant mediating mechanisms, linking organizational practices with environmental outcomes. Furthermore, ER strengthened the relationships between employee commitment, GI, and CEP. The results highlighted the importance of integrating managerial practices, leadership strategies, and innovation processes to enhance sustainability outcomes. This study contributed to the literature by providing a comprehensive model that explained how internal and external factors jointly influenced environmental performance, offering valuable insights for organizations seeking to improve their sustainability practices.
